On June 1 KST, BTS’s music video for “Mic Drop” officially exceeded 1.2 billion views on YouTube. Released on November 24, 2017 as a b-side track from their 5th mini-album ‘Love Yourself: Her’, the music video took 4 years and 5 months to reach the milestone.
“Mic Drop” has now become the boy band’s 4th MV to surpass 1.2 billion views following “DNA”, “Dynamite”, and “Boy With Luv”.
